About Park

The Science and Technology Park, as a socio-economic institution, plays a significant role in technology development, subsequently fostering the growth of knowledge-based economy and specialized employment opportunities. It aims to establish a supportive environment for the professional establishment and presence of small and medium-sized technology companies, research and development units, and research institutions engaged in constructive interaction with each other and other innovators in the innovation ecosystem, contributing to technology-driven employment activities.

Established under the license number 3540 dated 06 /15/ 2009 by the Council for the Development and Planning of Higher Education, the Science and Technology Park of Institute For Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) is managed in accordance with its charter, decisions of the Park's Board of Trustees, and relevant laws, regulations, and directives.

Incubation Center: Refers to the "Technology Startups Incubation Center" affiliated with the park. This center supports the creation and development of emerging technology startups by providing supportive services to entrepreneurs and innovators operating with economic objectives in technological and innovative fields.

Technology Units: These include companies, institutions, research and development units, or other legal entities, as well as groups and technology cores lacking legal identity, either based or operating within the park, Incubatore centers, or other park-affiliated sections, complying with relevant regulations and established guidelines within the park. Technology units, according to their articles of association or other legal documents, focus on business centered around a new idea or one derived from applied research and development, engineering design, reverse engineering, technology transfer and management, or specialized business services (from technology to market) aimed at commercializing research outcomes. This definition, respecting applicable laws and regulations, also encompasses foreign companies and institutions.
